At shearing time it is possible to see that each sheep's color pattern is a unique work of art. The lateral white stripe starts under the chin and then splits to run down the front and back of each leg, along each side of the belly, down the front and back of each hind leg meeting at the anus, and white tips on their tails. the white on the Paints is a bright white, the black is very black and there are many shades of silver. The lambs are beautiful and the wool is a fiber artist's dream palette of color. These sheep are easy keepers. They are hardy sheep that produce fast growing lambs. Brenda would like to find other breeders to continue this beautiful variety of purebred Border Cheviot Sheep.
